Meet 'Wilbur' and Win Charlotte's Web Merch!

Charlotte’s Web is the timeless tale of a pig named Wilbur who lives on Zuckerman’s farm with a host of animal friends. Life is pretty sweet for Wilbur until he discovers that he’ll soon be sold and turned into someone’s dinner—like all pigs in factory farms—and he definitely doesn’t want that to happen; neither does the farmer’s daughter, Fern, who adores him. Unsure of what to do, Fern and Wilbur are sure that the end for Wilbur is near until help comes from above in the form of a spider named Charlotte A. Cavatica, who hatches a clever plan to try to save his life. If you’re not familiar with the story, we’re not going to ruin the ending for you—you’ll just have to rush to the theater to see the movie. But before you do, watch our exclusive interview with Dominic Scott Kay, a.k.a. “Wilbur.”

With Dakota Fanning as Fern, and with stars like Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, John Cleese, Andre 3000, Cedric the Entertainer, and Robert Redford also lending their voices to the movie, we’re sure it’s going to be the holiday movie of the year! And speaking of voices, at just 10 years old, Dominic is already a veteran actor—he’s even directed his own movie! And Dominic loves animals. In fact, he’s even a spokesperson for Adopt A Star Greyhound Foundation. Says Dominic, “I really do not like what they do to greyhounds. They race greyhounds, and I’m a spokesperson for Adopt A Star Greyhound Foundation, and they’re really amazing because they go down to these places where they race greyhounds and they take them off the tracks, they save them, and they go clean them up and put them out for adoption to people.” Check out what he had to say about being “Wilbur” and what he does to help animals in this exclusive interview.

We were super excited to hear that Paramount Pictures was turning this classic story into a full-length feature film, and we were even more excited to hear that all the pigs who played Wilbur were sent to sanctuaries, where they will live out their lives in peace and won’t be turned into food. Yay! So rush out and see Charlotte’s Web today. You’ll love it—we promise.
