Simple Plan’s Special Message for PETA Kids!

Simple Plan loves animals and hates fur, but that’s no secret to their fans. After all, they did star in an anti-fur ad for PETA, Pierre’s been known to sport “no fur” wristbands on stage, and you’ll catch Chuck in a “Fur Is Dead” T-shirt from time to time. So we weren’t surprised when they gave us some Role Model gear for an anti-fur poster contest.

Remember when we promised to send your posters to Simple Plan so they could check ’em out? Well, it just so happens that they recently breezed into town to do a special show, and we got to hand-deliver your creations to Pierre, Chuck, Dave, Seb, and Jeff. They were so grateful for all your hard work that they wanted to thank you personally.

Unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to post the winning entries on PETAKids.com like usual, but we’ve got a really, really good reason why not … Simple Plan kept them! That’s right, gang; the guys loved your posters so much that they decided to take them with them on the road. And because they thought just saying “thank you” wasn’t nearly enough for all your efforts, they also did a voice-mail recording for you!
