Drool-Worthy Blueberry Pancakes

Saturday mornings are the best. There’s no school, you can sleep in, and you can look forward to hanging out with your friends and fam for the rest of the weekend. It couldn’t get any better than that, right?

Wrong. Saturday (and every day!) can be made even better with these delish blueberry pancakes.

And the best part is that they’re made without hurting animals! Just ask your parents to get these ingredients the next time they go grocery shopping and be sure to make the pancakes with a grown-up around.

Ingredients

2 cups flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sea salt
2 cups nondairy milk
3 Tbsp. canola oil
Fresh blueberries
Syrup

Instructions

  • Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add the nondairy milk and oil and mix until smooth.
  • Ask your parents to help you ladle 1/4 cup of the batter onto a hot pancake griddle.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Top with some fresh blueberries and your favorite syrup.
  • Enjoy!

You can tell whoever you share your pancakes with that no animals had to suffer for them.
