A Week of Easy Vegan Meals

So, you want to go vegan but aren’t sure what to eat? Well, the good news is that there’s actually a ton of things you can eat! With vegan versions of pretty much anything you could ever imagine (burgers, chicken nuggets, ribs, pizza, milk, cheese, etc.), you’ll always have something delish to munch on.

Here’s a week’s worth of meals to get you started—be sure to share this list with Mom and Dad before they hit up the grocery store!

Vegan Sloppy Joe Sandwich
Breakfast: cereal with nondairy milk and blueberries

Lunch: PB&J with a fresh fruit salad

Dinner: Sloppy Joes (made with Manwich sauce and veggie burger crumbles) and chips or a salad

Vegan Taco

Breakfast: oatmeal with cinnamon, raisins, and nondairy milk

Lunch: pita stuffed with hummus and sliced veggies

Dinner: tacos filled with vegan beef crumbles (or meatless chicken strips), refried beans, corn, salsa, soy cheese, and nondairy sour cream

Vegan Bacon Lettuce Tomato BLT Sandwich

Breakfast: English muffin with a side of veggie bacon

Lunch: BLT made with veggie bacon and Vegenaise nondairy mayo

Dinner: veggie burger (topped with pickles, lettuce, and a slice of tomato) with a side of French fries

Peanut Butter Banana Bagel

Breakfast: bagel with peanut butter and banana or nondairy cream cheese

Lunch: tortilla rollups filled with nondairy cream cheese and diced vegetables

Dinner: spaghetti with marinara sauce and a salad

Veggie Dog

Breakfast: vegan toaster waffles (try Van’s brand) and veggie sausage

Lunch: veggie hot dog, potato chips, and a pear

Dinner: barbecue “riblets” (try Morningstar Farms brand) and corn on the cob

Vegan Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza

Breakfast: toast with peanut butter and mashed bananas

Lunch: vegan grilled cheese sandwich with Campbell’s tomato soup

Dinner: pizza with vegan pepperoni, soy cheese, and a mountain of veggies

Tofu Veggie Rice Stir Fry

Breakfast: nondairy yogurt (try Silk brand) topped with granola

Lunch: frank ‘n’ beans made with vegetarian baked beans and veggie dog slices

Dinner: stir-fry made with tofu and sliced veggies
