PETA Kids’ Mother’s Day Contest!

Think you’ve got the best mom around? Of course you do! Everyone thinks his or her mom is the greatest mom in the universe, but we want to know why yours is the best, and we want you to let your whole entire community know why too! (And no, you can’t just say because she loves you, buys you cool stuff, and is nice to your friends.) Tell everyone how awesome your mom is by writing a letter to the editor of your local paper, and you just might win some goodies for you and Mom in PETA Kids’ annual Mother’s Day contest!

We want all the details! Does she make yummy veg meals because she knows that you should be eating your veggies, not your animal friends? Can she usually be found volunteering at the local animal shelter, rescuing animals off the street, or stopping to tell fur-wearers what happens to animals before they’re made into fur trim, coats, or pom-poms? Does she go out of her way to make sure that your cat and dog are the happiest in town? Is Mom the one who taught you to be kind to all animals, including bugs? (Yes, even bugs.) If so, we want to know!
