You Tell Us! Who's the Hottest Tofutti Cutie?

It's no Hollywood secret—a diet full of meat, milk, cheese, and eggs makes people fat, sluggish, and sick. Visit GoVeg.com and MilkSucks.com to learn why vegan diets are better for you and for animals.

Think of your favorite Hollywood heart throbs, adorable athletes, and muy bonito bands and it won't take long to realize what so many of them have in common their veggie diets.

Turn on the tube and melt for Miss Match, who's vegan just like the animal-friendly actor who plays her, Alicia Silverstone or veg out while you daydream about American Dreams star Will Estes.

All the members of AFI and Midtown are veggie. Jeph Howard and Quinn Allman of The Used refuse to use dead animals for dinner. Cone McCaslin, Deryck "Bizzy D" Whibley, and Steve Jocz of Sum 41 have all 86'd meat from their fridges. Good Charlotte's Billy Martin (see below) and Benji and Joel Madden know bacon burgers are no good for people or animals. Country superstar Shania Twain is veg so are Brandy, Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst, and India.Arie.

Sporty types flip over extreme veg athletes, including BMXers Taj Mihelich and Mike Ardelean and skateboarders Jamie Thomas, Laban Pheidias, Kris Markovich, and Amanda Kitts.

Moviegoers go gaga over leading man Jude Law, and who wouldn't want to spend 40 Days and 40 Nights with Josh Hartnett? She's All That so say fans of Rachel Leigh Cook, who never cooks animals. And is it a coinky-dink that the name of vegetarian Natalie Portman's Star Wars character, Queen Amidala, sounds like "I'm a doll, uh?" We don't think so... Visit PETAKids.com to see the long list of veggie star singers, actors, and athletes. Cast your vote for your favorite veggie guy and gal by March 30, 2004. We'll announce winners on PETAKids.com and in an upcoming issue of Grrr!

Billy From Good Charlotte Shouts Out,
Good Charlotte guitarist, PETA supporter, and vegetarian Billy Martin recently sat down for an interview and told us why it's so important to be a voice for animals: "Animals can't talk, you know... no one speaks for the animals. Someone's got to do it." When we asked him why he's vegetarian, Billy said, "I couldn't imagine eating my pets; why would I eat any other animals? You can survive totally fine without eating animals, so I don't think that you should [eat them]." For more of our chat with Billy, check out PETAKids.com.
