Ax Animals Acts
Ax Animals Acts Why is there a greased-pig race at the county fair or a donkey basketball game at your school? Good question! We may never know how some silly animal stunts got started, but caring people do know that using animals in these acts is just dumb and cruel. Animals used in these kinds of events don't have fun. Frightened pigs race to escape screaming kids who chase, pounce, and yank on them. Donkeys are forced to haul humans on their backs while they try to walk on slippery gymnasium floors. Animals are forced to perform stunts that they would never do on their own.

BITE BACKIs your school planning a goldfish-swallowing contest? Is your church considering turtle races?

Report upcoming animal acts to PETA as soon as possible. Call 757-622-7382.

Visit TeachKind.com for a list of kind fundraisers and info on how to stop the cruel ones.

Did You Know? Pigs used in greased-pig contests often suffer torn ligaments and broken bones no wonder both Rhode Island and Minnesota have banned them.
