Life can be a bore for companion animals who hang out by the front door or snooze on the La-Z-Boy all day, waiting for their human friends to come home from school or work. Dogs can't hop on a skateboard and head out to the dog park whenever they want to. They are totally reliant on us—their human families—for just about everything they do, from what they eat, to where they walk, to when they get to use the…ahem…facilities. This means that family time is the most super-precious thing in a dog or cat's life! We want to know the extraordinary ways that you make life less ordinary for your best buddy. How do you show your dog a howling good time? How are you a purrfect kitty caretaker?
Tell us—write to Grrr! Companion Animal Survey (PETA, 501 Front St., Norfolk, VA 23510). Submit your entry by July 31, 2005, and you might win a toy for your animal companion.
