Fur-Wearers, Prepare to Be Embarrassed ... When 11-year-old Hannah Crevling-Reed spotted a girl at school wearing a jacket with a fur-trimmed collar, she approached the girl to find out if it was real. When the girl admitted that it was, Hannah explained to her that she was responsible for killing an innocent fox who suffered every bit as much as a dog or cat would have. Even though she was nervous, Hannah knew she did the right thing by speaking up instead of letting the girl think that nobody cared.
Warning! Your Dog and Cat Shouldn’t Eat This Stuff
Shawna Christine Hendrix, 13, let people know about Iams’
cruel “nutrition” tests on animals by making her
own Iams flier with information that she downloaded from PETA’s

Teen Tackles Abuse Under the Big Top
One person really can make a difference. Just ask Heather Hermann,
a Denver 15-year-old who circulated a petition and gathered
6,000 signatures in order to put an initiative banning wild
animal acts to the vote in the city’s next election! “In
the wild, bears are not riding bicycles, and tigers are not
jumping through hoops of fire,” Heather told a reporter
for the Associated Press, whose story on Heather’s awesome
achievement was printed in newspapers all over the country. |
