December Mission
Missions will change monthly, so be sure to check back for new ways to score swag. This month's mission is below, and we're sure that you can handle it.
The holidays are finally here! We’re all excited to see the pretty decorations, spend time with our families and friends (no school!), stuff ourselves with Tofurky and mashed potatoes, and most importantly … open presents! But before we get all crazy with visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads, remember that it’s also a time to think about those less fortunate than us, and that includes homeless animals.
Yep, you guessed it, December’s mission is to collect donations for your local animal shelter. This will be super-easy, gang, trust us. All you have to do is call your local shelter and ask what supplies it needs most for the animals. Then get permission from your school administrators to set up a collection box to hold all the donations. Decorate the box with the shelter’s name and pictures of cats and dogs, and be sure to make posters to alert your classmates and teachers. You’ll probably want to set up a table before and after school and maybe even during lunch so that you can keep an eye on things. Have your teacher or a friend snap some shots of you collecting the goodies, and send a few of them, along with all the details, to usbe sure to include your name, age, e-mail address, phone number, and mailing addressand you’ll get a special prize pack. You may even find yourself gracing the pages of PETA’s Grrr! magazine or PETAKids.com!
