Yay! Summer is finally here. Searching for something to do? Whether you're hiking or soaking up the sun at the beach, scavenger hunts are a great way to enjoy nature and have heaps of fun. It's easy! Just gather your family members and friends together and make a list of things to hunt for, like a shiny leaf, a heart-shaped rock, a fallen pinecone, a seashell, etc. Remember: Take only a few objects and leave the rest for everyone else to enjoy. And respect trees—don't break off branches or remove bark. Hang on to everything that you find, and once you're back in the great indoors, make a cool collage (perfect for that empty spot on your wall) by gluing your "treasures" onto a piece of sturdy cardboard. Got all that? Good—now get going before your little brother or sister finds all the cool stuff!
Oh, just so you know—scavenger hunts have been known to make their participants crazy-hungry, so be sure to pack a cooler full of easy-to-make and easy-to-take snacks. These super-tasty peanut butter wraps are a sweet way to end your treasure-huntin' day.
