Win an Autographed Copy of Sir Paul McCartney's New Book!

One of our favorite people on the planet—former Beatle and singer-songwriter extraordinaire Sir Paul McCartney—has penned a new book just for kids, and we’ve managed to score several copies for a few lucky winners. Oh—and Sir Paul was nice enough to autograph them for us too! Mom and Dad are probably big fans of his, so you might have to share your book with them and be nice and mention this contest to them too.

High in the Clouds tells the story of Wirral the squirrel, who’s forced to leave his woodland home to go in search of the land of Animalia when construction threatens his habitat and kills his beloved mother, Sugartail. On his journey to Animalia, which seems like the perfect place to go because all animals can live in freedom there, he and his friends Froggo, Wilhamina, and Ratsy hatch a plan to save all enslaved animals everywhere. They have all sorts of adventures and run into danger on the way, but we’re not going to tell you anymore about it because you have to read it for yourself!

So, how do you get your hands on the goods? Easy. Put on your thinking cap and write us a story about what you do to help animals. Your story can be about one particular incident—that time you and Mom stopped on the side of the road to rescue a stray dog—or it can be about a bunch of things you’ve done to help animals, like how you walk your neighbor’s dog, have gotten a student-choice dissection policy passed at your school, or have raised money for your local animal shelter by having a vegan bake sale. Whatever you’ve done, we want to hear about it. Remember: It has to be a story, not just a list of things, so get creative and feel free to include pictures if you’d like—we love pictures!

Sorry, this contest is over. But don’t worry—you have lots of other chances to score free goodies at PETAKids.com!
