Halloween is pretty much the best holiday ever. I mean, when else do you get to dress up in a super-cool costume, go trick-or-treating with your friends, and stuff your face with vegan candy, all in one day?!
Want to know what else we love about Halloween? You guessed it—carving pumpkins!
This Halloween, put your skills to the test and use your pumpkin to speak up for animals! You can go all out carving a jack-o'-lantern, shaving the design in, or doing a combo and throwing in some paint or markers, too. It doesn't matter which style you pick—we just want to see how creative YOU can get!
Check out this super-cute "Not a Nugget" pumpkin stencil and find out how to get started below:
Download the stencil above and print it out.
Use a toothpick or pin to poke holes throughout the outlines of the stencil and trace the pattern on your pumpkin. From there, carve, shave, or color your design onto your pumpkin. (Please be careful when using any tool with a sharp blade, and ask a parent or teacher for help if needed!)
Send us a picture of your pumpkin once it's finished, and we'll send you a PETA Kids goodie pack!
